Method
Cut the kingfish into strips 2.5 cm thick, Sprinkle the salt over the fish and set aside while you prepare the other ingredients.
Heat the wok to hot and add the grapeseed oil. Reduce the heat and add the fish. Allow to brown evenly on each side (turn quickly but carefully to prevent them falling apart.) The fish should only take a few minutes to cook.
Remove from the oil and drain on kitchen paper.
Reheat the wok and add the ginger, and stir fry for 20 seconds. Add the rice syrup, lemon segments, and black pepper and cook for a further 1minute.
Add the broccolini and stir fry for 2 minutes. Return the kingfish to the wok, add the sesame oil and stir fry for a further 1 minute before serving.
Note : When you want the flavour of salt, you can protect against the health risks associated with a high sodium diet by using a low sodium salt. Sea salt is delicious used in moderation, particularly when you rarely eat packaged food, but when salt is a main ingredient the low sodium alternative is always the best option.
