Free Healthy Recipe - Bircher Muesli - raw

Dairy free, Low fat, Low GI, Low sugar, Wheat Free

If you are detoxing, it's a good idea to cut out dairy products for the duration. This recipe for Bircher muesli is deliciously sweet and a very substantial start to the day. Try to buy almond milk that has no added preservatives, or even better make your own.

1 cup green apple, grated
2 tbsp raw pepitas
2 tbsp flaxseeds
2 cups almond milk, (see recipe list)

Combine the oats, grated apple, pepitas, flaxseeds and almond milk together in a bowl and soak overnight.

Serve with fresh berries or papaya.

Makes 4 servings
