Free Healthy Recipe - Asian Salad

Dairy free, Low carbohydrate, Low GI, Low sugar

There is no hard and fast rule about which greens you choose, but it's nice if you are making an Asian salad to select leaves with an exotic-sounding name (even if they are grown at the back of Bourke). Tatsoi is a sweet little leaf and looks pretty mixed with the hardier looking mizuna.

Ingredients
4 handfuls mix of asian greens, (tatsoi, mizuna, mustard leaves, snow peas (mange-tout), alternatively rocket, radicchio or other mixed salad leaves)
1/3 cup olive oil
1 tbsp mirin
½ tbsp tamari
1 small clove garlic, crushed
Method

Wash and dry the salad greens in a salad spinner. String the snow peas and arrange all the greens on a platter. To make the dressing, mix the ingredients in a jar. Pour over the greens and serve immediately. You can make up the dressing in advance and keep it in a jar in the fridge.
