Free Healthy Recipe - Sweet Chutney

Dairy free, Low fat, Low sugar, Wheat Free

250 grams cooking apples
150 grams dried apricots
2½ cups barley malt
1 tbsp ginger, finely chopped
250 grams pears
2 tbsp sultanas
1 level tsp sea salt

Peel and core the apples and pears. Cut all the fruit into small pieces (including dried fruit).

Add all fruit to a medium saucepan plus remaining ingredients. Bring to a boil and lower heat and cook for 40 minutes. The chutney should be very dark in colour.
