Free Healthy Recipe - Par Boiled Vegetables with Gomashio

Dairy free, Low fat, Low GI, Low sugar, Wheat Free

2 medium zucchini, cut into 1 inch pieces
1 small sweet potato, cut into 1 inch pieces
4 yellow squash cut into quarters
3 cups water
pinch sea salt
gomashio (see recipe list)

Place water into a medium saucepan and bring to the boil. Add yellow squash and par boil for 2-3 minutes. Do not over crowd the pot. Remove with a slotted spoon and drain. Next add the zucchini and repeat the cooking process, followed by the sweet potato. Place all vegetables into a serving bowl and sprinkle with gomashio.
