Free Healthy Recipe - Grilled Pecan & Ginger Chicken

Dairy free, Low carbohydrate, Low fat, Low GI, Low sugar

Recipe courtesy of

2 tsp ginger, grated
2 tbsp honey
2 tbsp soy sauce, or tamari
2 pinches cayenne, pepper
1 tbsp oil, pecan
2 chicken - organic breasts, skinless
10 pecans

Combine the sesame seeds, oil, ginger, honey, soy and cayenne in a bowl and mix well. Set aside. Reserve a small amount of the sauce in a small bowl to use when serving.

Cut the chicken breasts in half, horizontally. Grill the chicken on a medium to hot BBQ grill. Baste chicken occasionally with the sauce mixture for 6-8 minutes on each side (cooking time will vary depending on the size of each breast).

Serve with remaining sauce, salad & sprinkle with pecan pieces.
