Free Healthy Recipe - Incaberry Muesli Slice

These are a nice sweet fibre rich treat to enjoy in the afternoon with a cup of herbal tea.

Ingredients
2/3 cups honey
¼ cups brown sugar
100 grams omega spread
¾ cups incaberries, chopped
2½ cups rolled oats
1½ tsp cinnamon
1 tsp ginger
1 egg lightly beaten
½ cup mixed raw nuts, chopped finely
Method

Preheat oven to 160 C
Place honey, sugar and Omega spread in a saucepan and over a medium high heat stir until sugar has dissolved. remove from heat and allow mixture to cool slightly.
Transfer to a large bowl and add the Incaberries and other ingredients. Stir well to combine.

Transfer mixture to a baking tin 20 x 30 cm lined with baking paper and smooth down the surface with a palate knife or damp wooden spoon.

Bake for 25 - 30 minutes or until firm and golden brown. Allow to cool completely then cut into squares.

Makes 12 servings (serve = 1 slice)
