Free Healthy Recipe - Healthy Banana Cake
3 drops vanilla essence
1 tsp bicarbonate soda
Beat together the margarine and sugar until it's pale and fluffy
Add the eggs, banana and vanilla and beat until it's all mixed in.
Sift the dry ingredients into a bowl, pour ½ dry ingredients into the egg and banana mixture with ½ the buttermilk and mix through then add the remaining ingredients and mix again
Pour the batter into a lined loaf tin and bake in a preheated oven at 180c for 45 minutes to 1 hour.
Check after 45 minutes with a skewer if it turns out clean it's cooked - if not cook for a further 15 minutes
Turn out onto a cooling rack after a few minutes
Makes 10 servings
