Free Healthy Recipe - Toddlers Shortbread

Low GI, Low sugar

You can rest a sure that these little shortbread are wholesome, easy to make and perfect for that little sweet treat. The oats are nutritious whilst adding crunch. Try stopping at one!

175 grams unsalted butter
½ cup brown rice flour

Preheat oven to 165C. Line a baking tray with baking paper.

Melt butter in a large saucepan then take off heat. Mix in rest of ingredients until just combined. Turn out onto a lightly floured surface. Gently pat out to approximately 1 cm thick and cut desired shapes with a 4.5-5cm biscuit cutter. Place on prepared tray and bake for 25 minutes or until lightly golden. Cool on tray completely.

Store in an airtight container in a cool place for up to 1 week.
