Free Healthy Recipe - Soy Cream

Dairy free, Low sugar

Another recipe from Karla Maverick for those of you who can't tolerate dairy, or just prefer an alternative. Make sure when buying soy milk that you buy a product that is not full extra sugar, and if gluten sensitive, watch out for malt.

Ingredients
3 cups soy milk
½ tsp cinnamon
1 tbsp maple syrup
Method

Combine 2 cups soy milk in a pan with the agar agar flakes. Bring to the boil stirring constantly until the flakes have dissolved. Add a pinch of sea salt and the cinnamon. Pour into a dish and leave to set.

Once set cut into small pieces and place in a blender with maple syrup and 1 cup of soy milk. Puree until creamy.

Makes 8 servings
