Rhubarb is actually a vegetable and while there doesn't seem to be a whole lot of information to find on its nutritional properties the vibrant colour suggests that it is loaded in photochemicals. Warm stewed rhubarb is a delicious accompaniment to hot porridge in the morning.
Thoroughly wash and chop the rhubarb into pieces approx 2 cm long.
Place in a pan with the water, apple concentrate and cinnamon. Bring to the boil, reduce the heat to low and gently simmer for 10 - 15minutes.
