Free Healthy Recipe - Fig and Orange with Maple Walnuts

Gluten free, Low carbohydrate, Low GI, Low sugar, Wheat Free

I whipped up this easy dessert the other night when some friends dropped by for dinner - it's healthy and you don't have to spend ages in the kitchen away from your guests.

3 figs quartered
2 oranges sliced
½ cup walnuts
1½ tbsp maple syrup
drizzle maple syrup

In a small frying pan toss the walnuts in maple syrup over a medium heat until the maple syrup has coated around the walnuts.

Slice the fruit and arrange it on a plate. Top with the yoghurt, maple syrup and the toasted walnuts.
