Pomegrante molasses
Pomegranate molasses is made with pomegranate juice and sugar. Using the arils only (and not the pith) it's sticky sweet with no trace of bitterness. Some commercial brands are bitter , an indication that care was not taken to remove the pith. You can make your own. I found a recipe by blogger healthy nibbles and bits which looks quite easy.
