Hot smoked salmon
Hot smoked salmon is available from delis, fish shops and the refrigerated section of most stores.

Not to be confused with smoked salmon, hot smoked salmon is a thick piece of salmon fillet cooked as part of the smoking process. It's rich in flavour and is absolutely delicious served with any number of things including pasta, rice and simply flaked through salads.

You'll find it vacuum packed in a single piece (approx 150 g to serve 3 people) or as a whole side.

Once opened use it straight away or stock it in an airtight container in the fridge for 3 - 4 days.
