Apples - Jazz
The Jazz apple is a new variety and is a cross between a Braeburn and a Royal Gala apple with the juicyness of the Gala and robust texture of the Braeburn. Small to medium in size, it has a tangy sweet flavour and a wonderful juicy crunchy. It's red skin like all other apples is packed with antioxidants. Look out for Jazz apples from May through until August.

Tap the skin with your fingernail and if it sounds tight like a drum it will be crisp and juicy. Avoid any with broken skin or those with bruises.
