Flour - Rice, Brown
Brown rice flour has more fibre than white rice flour as it contains the bran. Safe to use for those with gluten or wheat intolerance, brown rice flour is commonly mixed with other non-allergenic flours as an alterative to wheat flours in many recipes.
Buy from a health food store.
Brown rice flour still features an oil-rich germ, so is more susceptible to becoming rancid than white rice flour, and should be kept in the refrigerator or freezer in an airtight container for up to one year.
