Apples - Golden Delicious
No relation to the Red Delicious. The Golden Delicious is a pale green, sweet flavoured apple with juicy,
crisp, light-yellow flesh.
Note: Salicylate content is only regarded as low if the apple is peeled; otherwise the level is high.

Check that the apple is firm and free of insect bites.
Keep apples crisp by storing them in the fridge
Tips & Tricks:
Tap the surface with your fingernail to check for crispness - if it makes a dull sound it could be floury.
Use golden delicious in pies and other desserts and avoid adding extra sugar.
