Also called Loomi or Oman Lemons, these whole, dried limes have a wonderful citrus flavour with a richly fermented overtone. The inside dried flesh is black although the outer skin is actually tan or brownish-yellow.

To Store: | Store away from humidity and light. Black limes should keep for at least 15 months from date of purchase. |
Tips and Tricks: | Pierce whole limes with a skewer and add to chicken or fish casseroles. Grind the limes to make loomi powder, which can be added to Middle Eastern rice and meat dishes for a limey flavour. |
