This week our report tells us that pears, figs, royal gala apples, limes, kiwi berry, pistachio nuts, plums, pomegranate, and truss tomatoes are some of the best buys in fruit.

In vegetables, we know sweetcorn, carrots, onions, pumpkin, Kumera, Eggplant, Asian greens, and green beans are the choice produce this week.

  • How about a quinoa pilaf with pistachio, roast pumpkin, and pomegranate salad served with some grilled meat or fish
  • Perhaps a tofu stir fry with Asian greens, carrots, and sweetcorn would be nice
  • A miso-glazed baked eggplant with steamed green beans and grilled chicken is a tasty healthy dinner
  • And it's hard to beat grilled sausages on the BBQ with caramelised onions on buns served with an accompanying fresh salad
  • Speaking of salads, figs, and pistachios tossed through some green leaves with shaved Parmesan and a tangy dressing made from olive oil and lime juice would be sublime.
  • Snatch up some crunchy Royal Gala apples because the time to enjoy them is right now.

There's nothing too complicated about any of that. we just the inspiration of what to buy in the first place.
